WR White out for Falcons
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White was inactive for Thursday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of a hamstring injury.
White missed practice this week and was limited last week with what the Falcons listed as a knee injury. He then hurt his hamstring in Sunday’s loss at Cincinnati.
White had 10 catches for 114 yards and a touchdown in two games. He sat out three games last year because of injury after not missing a game in his first eight seasons in the NFL.
Harry Douglas and Devin Hester were likely to fill in at wide receiver for White.
Also inactive for the Falcons were quarterback Sean Renfree, cornerback Javier Arenas, linebacker Tyler Starr, center James Stone, offensive tackle Ryan Schraeder and defensive tackle Cliff Matthews.
Tampa Bay’s inactives were running back Doug Martin, linebacker Mason Foster, offensive tackle Kevin Pamphile, guards Rishaw Johnson and Kadeem Edwards, tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins and defensive tackle Gerald McCoy.
