Seattle Seahawks (0-1) at Green Bay Packers (1-0)

*Keys to the game: The Seahawks have serious offensive line issues that make it difficult to pick up first downs, much less put together extended drives. RB Marshawn Lynch was mostly effective but QB Russell Wilson was under constant pressure from the Rams’ talented defensive line last week. When he did have time, Wilson was off-target on several throws, and the Packers picked him off four times in last year’s NFC Championship Game in Seattle. Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell would be wise to get TE Jimmy Graham more involved in the early going and give Wilson opportunity to burn Green Bay’s pressure packages.

The Packers nearly upended the Seahawks last January on the strength of those turnovers, as QB Aaron Rodgers (178 yards, two INTs) and RB Eddie Lacy (73 rushing yards) were largely held in check. The dynamic changes a bit this time around with Green Bay minus WR Jordy Nelson and Seattle without SS Kam Chancellor. Rodgers is coming off a highly efficient opener and will target Chancellor’s replacement, second-year man Dion Bailey, whenever possible. The Seahawks got to Rodgers just once in the last meeting, but must get to him more consistently on the road.

*Matchup to watch – Seahawks LG Justin Britt vs. Packers pass rush: Britt struggled in his first game on the interior after moving from right tackle during training camp. The Packers don’t bring the same intimidating interior forces St. Louis did, but Britt can expect defensive coordinator Dom Capers to find ways to isolate him against LBs Julius Peppers and Clay Matthews.

*Player spotlight – Packers TE Richard Rodgers: Seattle has long been vulnerable to tight ends and the Rams’ Jared Cook had a team-high five receptions for 85 yards last week. Rodgers caught all three of his targets in the opener, although for just 27 yards.

*Fast facts: Wilson is 42-15 in his career as a starter, and 3-0 against the Packers including the postseason. … Rodgers has thrown 41 TDs with 0 INTs and a 124.4 passer rating in his past 17 home games, including playoffs.

WHO WILL WIN AND WHY

It won’t make up for the devastating loss in Seattle eight months ago, but the Packers take advantage of Kam Chancellor’s absence to move the ball with more ease than normal against the Legion of Boom, while the Seahawks’ offensive line issues lead to another slew of three-and-outs.
