Week 17 NFL Quarterback Rankings – Who Has The Best Matchups
Find out which quarterbacks have the best matchups for Week 17.
We’re finally here.
With the final week of the regular season upon us, it’s time for fantasy football owners to prepare for the championship.
I’m here you to help you win your league, so without further ado, let’s see who has the best matchups heading into Week 17.
1. Tom Brady @ Dolphins – With home-field advantage on the line, expect for Brady and company to come out with razor sharp focus.
2. Cam Newton vs. Buccaneers – After starting off 14-0, it’s crazy to think Carolina could lose home-field advantage. With that in mind, Newton will look to exploit this fragile Bucs defense.
3. Eli Manning vs. Eagles – Chip Kelly is no longer in Philly, but don’t expect their defense to magically get better overnight. OBJ is back and the Giants will want to send Tom Coughlin out on a high note.
4. Drew Brees @ Falcons – The 36-year-old has quietly had another great season. 31 touchdowns to 11 interceptions isn’t too shabby.
5. Ben Roethlisberger @ Browns – Cleveland ranks near the bottom in interceptions, which means Big Ben won’t be shy when tossing the ball around the lot.
6. Carson Palmer vs. Seahawks – Coming off their upset loss to St. Louis, the Seahawks will look to rebound, but Carson Palmer is just playing on another level right now.
7. Ryan Fitzpatrick @ Bills – Coming off his three touchdown performance against New England, it’s safe to say Fitzpatrick is riding tons of momentum heading into this matchup.
8. Kirk Cousins @ Cowboys – The NFC East is all locked up, but Cousins will look to carry more mojo heading into postseason play. Would you like that?
9. Aaron Rodgers vs. Vikings – To say Rodgers has been struggling would be a major understatement, but coming back home may get him back on track.
10. Russell Wilson @ Cardinals – He cooled down considerably last week, so we’re expecting him to bounce back. However, it’ll be tough against this Arizona secondary.
11. Blake Bortles @ Texans – Way back in October, Bortles threw three touchdowns to go along with three picks against Houston. I’m banking on his turnovers going down this time around.
12. Brian Hoyer vs. Jaguars – The Jaguars defense is terrible and Hoyer should have a field day as the Texans win the AFC South.
13. Jay Cutler vs. Lions – Will this be his last game in Chicago? Who knows, but one thing we do know is that Cutler has completed over 70 percent of his passes the past two games.
14. Matt Ryan vs. Saints – This guy has definitely had a rough year, but facing arguably the worst pass defense in football should help him finish the year strong.
15. Alex Smith vs. Raiders – There will be opportunities for Smith to be productive not only in the air, but on the ground as well.
16. Matthew Stafford @ Bears – Statistically, this is a pretty good Bears secondary, but earlier this season, Stafford threw for over 400 yards with four touchdowns against Chicago.
17. Derek Carr @ Chiefs – The sophomore maybe had the worst game of his career against Kansas City a few weeks ago. He threw three picks and I don’t see it getting much better this time.
18. Tyrod Taylor vs. Jets – In an attempt to play spoiler, Tyrod Taylor will try to make plays with his arm and legs, but he’ll have to be careful against this stout defense.
19. Sam Bradford @ Giants – There’s no telling how different the offense will look without Chip Kelly. On the bright side, New York’s pass defense ranks dead last.
20. Case Keenum @ 49ers – The good news is that San Francisco’s pass defense ranks 25th, the bad news is that Keenum just doesn’t produce much fantasy points.
21. Philip Rivers @ Broncos – Teams have been finding some wrinkles in Denver’s defense recently, but with Denver still battling for playoff positioning, they’ll be locked in against a familiar foe.
22. A.J. McCarron vs. Ravens – With all things considering, McCarron has handled himself nicely as a starter. This will be an opportunity for him to exploit Baltimore’s weak secondary.
23. Austin Davis vs. Steelers – Pittsburgh has one of the worst pass defenses in the league, but Davis hasn’t shown the ability to take advantage of situations like this.
24. Brock Osweiler vs. Chargers – The 25-year-old is just learning every week and he seems to be getting more comfortable. However, he still isn’t a guy you should rely on in Fantasy.
25. Ryan Tannehill vs. Patriots – This is probably the worst time ever for Tannehill to face New England.
26. Ryan Mallett @ Bengals – A fair shot is all Mallett needed and it showed in his Ravens debut last week. At the same time, things will look much different against Cincy.
27. Zach Mettenberger @ Colts – The Colts defense isn’t very good, but neither is Mettenberger.
28. Jameis Winston @ Panthers – The up and down rookie season of Winston is going to end on a down note. Facing Carolina’s defense is already challenging enough, but after a loss?
Good luck, Winston.
29. Blaine Gabbert vs. Rams – The Rams front seven is going get after Gabbert all day long.
30. Kellen Moore vs. Redskins – Dallas is just trying to see what they have in Moore at this point. He may surprise, but I doubt it.
31. Teddy Bridgewater @ Packers – He hasn’t thrown for over 340 yards in a game all season and he’s only had two multi-touchdown games this season.
32. Matt Hasselbeck vs. Titans – It’s about time for Hasselback to hang them up.
