We’re coming off the best picking week of the season and positive momentum is churning.  We hope to keep the good vibes going in Week 13.

Kansas City vs. Atlanta

The Chiefs are probably the better, more well-rounded team on paper.  The Falcons lost Desmond Trufant and Adrian Clayborn this week and their defense, which already isn’t great is greatly diminished.  Kansas City is coming off an emotional win and it’s going to be tough for them to summon back up the energy to stymy a very good offense.  Falcons 27, Chiefs 20. 

Detroit vs. New Orleans

The first place Detroit Lions head down to the dome to play on the fast track.  Two quarterbacks playing at the top of their game and this one should be a shootout.  Saints 31, Lions 27.

Los Angeles vs. New England

The Pats are obviously without Rob Gronkowski, which will affect them against some of the better opponents on their schedule.  This isn’t one of those.  Rookie Jared Goff will struggle mightily against a Matt Patricia defense.  Pats 31, Rams 20. 

Denver vs. Jacksonville

The Broncos will be without starter Trevor Siemian, but replace him with perhaps a more talented player in Paxton Lynch.  It’s a free look game for Denver as they get to audition Lynch without much of any fear of losing.  Von Miller will terrorize Blake Bortles and this one will be ugly and easy.  Broncos 24, Jags 10. 

Houston vs. Green Bay

The season is on the line for the Packers after their impressive Monday night win.  In a matchup of Osweiler vs. Rodgers, who would you take?  Packers 23, Texans 16. 

Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati

The Eagles seem like the better team this year, but they haven’t been particularly impressive over the past month and Carson Wentz seems to have hit a rookie wall.  This will be one of the uglier games of the week.  Bengals 16, Eagles 13. 

Miami vs. Baltimore

At the beginning of the year, this wasn’t supposed to be an interesting game, but it very much is.  I believe the Dolphins roster is a little better and Baltimore hasn’t been impressive at all offensively.  I’m calling for a minor upset.  Dolphins 20, Ravens 16. 

San Francisco vs. Chicago

Colin Kaepernick is back to looking like a legitimate NFL quarterback.  Matt Barkley is not.  In a game where few will be watching, Chip Kelly’s gang will get a road win. 49ers 17, Bears 13. 

Buffalo vs. Oakland

The Raiders have defeated bad and mediocre teams all season long.  Why should Sunday be any different?  Raiders 31, Bills 20. 

N.Y. Giants vs. Pittsburgh

The Giants are red hot, winners of 7 straight games.  The Steelers haven’t been overly impressive in their past two wins, but they are a more desperate team and playing at home.  Steelers 27, Giants 23. 

Washington vs. Arizona

It sounds crazy, but Washington looks to have the better roster with a better quarterback.  On top of that, the Redskins need to win to stay in the playoff race.  What is Arizona actually playing for?  Redskins 24, Cards 20. 

Tampa Bay vs. San Diego

The Chargers are as good as anyone at stopping the run.  The Bucs don’t need to run to win.  Tampa is peaking and they will pull off the road upset.  Bucs 23, Chargers 21. 

Carolina vs. Seattle

The referees are going to have to do a better job of protecting Cam Newton in this game because he’s going to be hit a lot.  The Seahawks are a better team and last year was an aberration.  ‘Hawks 27, Panthers 16. 

Indianapolis vs. N.Y. Jets

Andrew Luck is back under center for Indianapolis and he’s the glue that makes that awful roster competitive.  Meanwhile, the Jets are circling the drain.  Colts 24, Jets 17.
