Week 11 NFL MVP Rankings
We have a new player in our top five as we look at who the frontrunners are for NFL MVP.
It’s time for our weekly check-in on the race for MVP.
1. Tom Brady, New England Patriots
It was tough not to place Aaron Rodgers at the top after the game he had on national television against the Bears, but we can’t drop Tom Brady because he had a bye week. Brady has been playing unbelievable football during the Patriots’ five-game winning streak as he’s thrown for over 1,600 yards, and has 18 touchdowns and just one interception. Brady seems to win all the big games and has kept the Patriots great for 14 years.
2. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers plays at a different level than everyone else. He makes throws that nobody playing now or maybe ever can make or has ever made. Rodgers is mobile, always keeps his eyes up and has a rocket for an arm. He’s the perfect quarterback.
3. DeMarco Murray, Dallas Cowboys
DeMarco Murray had another 100-yard game which makes nine out of 10 games. He leads the NFL in rushing by more than 400 yards. We don’t know if Murray will be with the Cowboys next season, but he’s giving Dallas a lot to think about if they’re going to let him walk.
4. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos
Manning is on pace to throw for 51 touchdowns this season, which would have been a record if he hadn’t already broken it last season. His excellence is sometimes taken for granted and he’s clearly the best regular season quarterback ever.
5. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts
Andrew Luck plays with a pretty mediocre offensive line and he lifts his entire team and they always have a chance when he’s under center. Luck has the league lead in passing yards and he will try to get his first victory against Tom Brady and the Patriots this Sunday. For those who love quarterbacks, this should be appointment television.
