Vikings sign WR Charles Johnson
The Minnesota Vikings signed wide receiver Charles Johnson to the 53-man roster off the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad Saturday.
Johnson is a 2013 seventh-round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers. He joined the Browns from Green Bay’s practice squad in October 2013.
Johnson played in all four preseason with the Browns and had six catches for 65 yards.
He played under played under offensive coordinator Norv Turner and quarterbacks coach Scott Turner in Cleveland last season.
