The Minnesota Vikings signed running back Henry Josey off the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad on Wednesday.

Josey entered the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent. He went through training camp and the preseason with the Eagles before being released during final roster cuts. Josey, who played collegiately at Missouri, rushed for 1,166 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2013. He missed the entire 2012 season after suffering a knee injury late in 2011.

Josey replaces running back Ben Tate, who was waived Tuesday.

The Vikings also signed linebacker Justin Anderson to the practice squad. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana-Lafayette. He was on both the Giants’ active roster and practice squad this season.
