Vikings sign QB Devlin to practice squad

The Minnesota Vikings signed quarterback Pat Devlin and tight end RaShaun Allen to the practice squad Monday.

To make room, quarterback Chandler Harnish was added to the practice squad’s injured list and tight end Ryan Otten was waived from the practice squad.

Devlin signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2011 draft with the Miami Dolphins after playing collegiately at Delaware and Penn State. During the 2013 preseason, Devlin completed 47 of 80 of his passes for 504 yards and two touchdowns to lead the NFL. He has not appeared in an NFL regular-season game.

Allen originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks following the 2014 draft. Allen played four seasons for Southern University. He appeared in one game for Seattle.
