Vikings O-Line Coach Explains Why He’s Losing Sleep
After starting the season (5-0), the Minnesota Vikings have lost their last four games. A major reason for the slide has been the inability to run the football. Currently, Minnesota ranks dead last in rushing, only having one 100-yard outing on the ground this season.
As the Vikings look to end their skid against the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday, they’ll be trotting out their seventh different starting lineup up front, which has offensive line assistant coach Tony Sparano losing his beauty sleep.
“I’m not sleeping a lot lately these days,” Sparano said Thursday, per the St. Paul Pioneer Press. “It’s something, obviously, I haven’t been a part of, these scenarios where you go 10-12 linemen deep. There’s been a lot of moving parts and a lot of change.”
Kickoff is set for one eastern time.
