Vikings add Land O’Lakes as new stadium founder
The Sports Xchange
New U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis will have a third founding partner in farmer-owned Land O’Lakes, the food and agribusiness brand that joines Hy-Vee Inc. grocery and Miller Coors.
Assets in the new football stadium will include prominent signage throughout the venue and advertising opportunities with the Vikings Entertainment Network.
“We are pleased to be partnering with the Vikings and leveraging the advertising power of professional football across the United States; particularly rural America,” Land O’Lakes President and CEO Chris Policinski said in a news release.
At least seven founding partners are expected by next season.
The agreemeent provides Land O’Lakes exclusivity in the dairy products, animal feed and crop input categories and some access to team facilities with collaboration on community initiatives and business entertainment opportunities.
