Vick exits, Jets turn to QB Simms
New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick was escorted to the locker room with a suspected head injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Matt Simms replaced Vick with the Chiefs leading the game 24-10.
Vick was 12 of 14 passing for 92 yards and one touchdown.
Vick absorbed a big hit by Josh Mauga and Vick’s head slammed to the turf. He was replaced by Matt Simms and doctors walked Vick from the sideline to the locker room.
Geno Smith, who started the first eight games of the season, was inactive.
