Update: Titans QB Marcus Mariota Out For Season With Broken Ankle
Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota had to be carted off the field with an air cast in the team’s 38-17 loss at Jacksonville in the third quarter. The team’s worst fears were realized as head coach Mike Mularkey addressed the media.
“Alright, start off with the bad news, other than the game, Marcus (Mariota) has a fractured fibula. We will know more how to handle that when we get back and he sees a doctor,” Mularkey said.
The best case scenario would be that Mariota misses all of the offseason, and he’s likely going to be a candidate for the PUP list to start the 2017 season.
