QUARTERBACKS

Tom Brady, New England Patriots, $8100

Brady will continue his amazing year with a great Sunday night performance against the Colts. He’s one of the most expensive options this week, but with how zoned in he is and the nice Sunday night matchup against the Colts, you can expect Brady to be one of this week’s top performers. Brady and the Pats lead the NFL in points per drive and he has been fantastic all year. Throw in Brady on Sunday night against Andrew Luck, whom he has never lost against, because chances are Brady is going to go off.

Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos, $6600

Manning hasn’t been all that great this year and, in fact, he has thrown an interception in every game thus far. Coming off of last week’s awful outing against Oakland, where Manning threw zero touchdowns and two picks, expect the veteran to be hungry for a big game before going into the bye week. He has a solid matchup against a Cleveland defense that has given up the fourth-most touchdowns and fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this year, so Manning is a good play despite his recent struggles.

Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears, $5200

CHI@DET

Over the last two games, Cutler has done well. He threw for over 250 yards with a couple scores in each contest and now he faces a Lions defense that has been very weak against the aerial attack this year. Last week, Detroit let Carson Palmer go 11 for 14, for 161 yards and three touchdowns.  Cutler is most likely getting Alshon Jeffery back this week and Eddie Royal should be good to go as well, making him your best low-price option at QB once again.

RUNNING BACKS

Matt Forte, Chicago Bears, $7100

CHI@DET

Forte is second on his team in targets and he’s obviously the go-to guy in the backfield. I like the Bears’ fantasy options this week, as the Lions have been a bad football team on both ends this year. They just got lit up by the Cardinals, allowing 187 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. Forte is better than Chris Johnson and Andre Ellington, and I expect him to succeed in both the passing and rushing attack this week.

Dion Lewis, New England Patriots, $5800

News broke last week that Lewis has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Patriots, meaning Lewis is certainly in the team’s long-term plan. He’s a great fit for what the Pats do, with a lot of quick out passes that give Lewis room to run after the catch and make explosive plays. He is third on his team in targets, and only three behind Rob Gronkowski. The ball is going to be in his hands a good amount every week, and he’s a good mid-tier option at running back this week being under $6,000.

Charcandrick West, Kansas City Chiefs, $4000

KC@MIN

West is going to have a chance to get a lot of touches the rest of the year due to Jamaal Charles being on IR with his torn ACL. Most people will play Knile Davis, because he has been the definition of a handcuff back in fantasy the last few years. However, usage trends show us that West will likely get the bulk of the carries in Kansas City, which makes West an amazing option this week as your flex or running back two.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Demaryius Thomas, Denver Broncos, $7900

Thomas ranks third in the league in targets and fourth in receptions. He and Manning have been connecting a lot, but not for big yards and touchdowns. Manning is on the list this week, and I believe Thomas will have a strong outing as well. He needs a lot of usage to withstand the fall off of Peyton’s production this year, but I think he will get more than enough looks in Week Six to put up a big game and at least one score. Prediction: Demaryius will have his best game of the year in Week Six, making him your best option if you decide to spend big at wide out this week.

Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars, $5900

HOU@JAX

Robinson is in the same spot two weeks in a row, being a nice mid-tier option at receiver. Blake Bortles throws him the deep ball a lot, and Robinson is actually 11th in the league in targets. Coming off of a week in which both Robinson and running mate Allen Hurns played very well, I don’t see why Bortles won’t continue to push the ball down the field, and I like Robinson’s chances of having a touchdown catch in Week Six.

Donte Moncrief, Indianapolis Colts, $5000

In Week Six, Moncrief faces the Patriots, who have given up the ninth-most receiving yards per game to wide receivers this season. The Patriots also score a lot of touchdowns, meaning this game could turn into a shoot-out. Moncrief and Andrew Luck had nice chemistry earlier this year, with Moncrief at times looking like Luck’s favorite target. With Luck back from injury and looking to silence his critics, I expect him to come up big and have a lot of success with Moncrief in Week Six.

TIGHT ENDS

Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots, $7600

NE@IND

The price on Gronk is very high – he’s over $2,000 more than the next tight end option – but that’s because he is that much better than the rest of the field. Watching Gronk play is so enjoyable; he’s a massive human being who plays with a ton of energy. I’m sounding like a broken record, but Gronk will continue to be here as the top-tier tight end option as long as he’s healthy and clicking with Brady.

Tyler Eifert, Cincinnati Bengals, $4900

CIN@BUF

Eifert is ranked first on his team in his touchdowns, and second in receptions, yards and targets. He is having a breakout year and he has looked Gronk-esque at times. With Andy Dalton leading all NFL players in fantasy points, Eifert is a must-start in normal fantasy formats and a great value play in Week Six as he faces a Buffalo defense that has given up nice numbers to receiving options in fantasy this year.

Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers, $4600

SD@GB

Gates came off of his suspension in Week Five and picked up right where he left off last season, scoring two touchdowns and catching nine passes for 92 yards. He has been one of Philip Rivers’ favorite targets for years, and that’s still the case.  Aaron Rodgers is going to bounce back and put up points on San Diego, meaning Rivers will likely be forced to find Gates, who led his team in every receiving statistical category last week.  Gates will have to be a big part of the passing game if the Chargers want a chance to take down the Packers. Gates looks like a top play at tight end, and he’s still relatively cheap so this is a high-upside play in Week Six.

DEFENSES

Denver Broncos, DEN@CLE, $3700

The Browns surprised the Ravens last week, as Josh McCown put up big numbers. With that said, I think this week the Broncos remind the world that the Browns aren’t that great and play a very good defensive game. The Broncos don’t give up a lot of points, bring pressure and force turnovers. McCown tends to turn the ball over when faced with a solid pass rush, so this could be a huge week for Denver.

New York Jets, WAS@NYJ, $3100

The Jets have a great secondary led by Darrelle Revis as well as an explosive defensive front. They have given up on average just 13.75 points to opposing offenses this year. The Redskins are just an average offense, with a below average quarterback in Kirk Cousins. The Jets should pick off Cousins a couple times, and maybe even return a pick six. They’re a nice mid-tier option for Week Six.

Chicago Bears, CHI@DET, $2400

The Bears are the third-cheapest option this week on Draft Kings. They don’t have a great defense, but they have performed nicely the last two weeks. They held the Chiefs to just 17 points in Week Five, and now in Week Six they face a very weak Detroit offense. Matthew Stafford is having one of his worst years and Calvin Johnson isn’t the Megatron we are used to seeing. It’s a mess on offense in Detroit, making the Bears a sneaky good play in Week Six. If you feel like saving almost a thousand dollars on defense, your best bet is the Bears.
