Tony Romo “in Good Shape” as Bye Week Nears
Quarterback Tony Romo is no worse for the wear after the Dallas Cowboys’ long trip to London.
Playing less than two weeks after fracturing two small bones in his back, Romo was spectacular in Sunday’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, completing 20 of 27 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns. He was sacked only once and felt relatively good physically after the team returned to Dallas considering the circumstances.
“He came out of the game fairly clean and didn’t seem to have any issues on the flight coming back,” head coach Jason Garrett said. “He is in good shape.”
