Titans’ scout Brocato dies at 85
The Sports Xchange
Tennessee Titans scout C.O. Brocato died Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.
“We have lost a true icon and legend,” Titans general manager Ruston Webster said.
The 85-year old Brocato had spent 40 years with the organization as a scout, originally joining the franchise in 1975.
Brocato was a member of the organization for 599 games and was on a preliminary list of nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame on three occasions (2005, 2007 and 2008).
The Titans honored him in April by re-naming their personnel department meeting room “C.O. Brocato Draft Room.”
