Titans QB Locker hurt again
Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker led a pair of touchdown drives before he left Sunday’s game with a right hand injury.
Locker left the game with a 14-3 lead in the second quarter when Browns cornerback Buster Skrine hit Locker high. The Titans announced he was questionable to return.
Backup Charlie Whitehurst stepped in and tossed a pair of touchdown passes in his first three attempts.
Locker injured his right hand in Week 3 at Cincinnati, when on the final drive he told the coaching staff he wasn’t able to fully grip the football.
Locker did not play last week, and has battled injuries throughout his career. Last season he played in just seven game because of hip and shoulder injuries and he started 11 games in 2012.
