JACKSONVILLE, FL. — Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was taken to the locker room early in the second quarter in the game against Jacksonville to check for a possible concussion.

Johnson dropped a pass at the 1-yard line when he was hit from behind by Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith. Smith was penalized for hitting a defenseless player on the play, giving Houston a first-and-goal at the 4-yard line. The Texans scored two plays later on a Ryan Fitzpatrick 4-yard run.

With five minutes left in the second quarter, Johnson had not returned to the Texans sideline.
