Texans QB Fitzpatrick carted off, ruled out
Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was carted off the field in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with a left leg injury.
Fitzpatrick was ruled out for the remainder of the game. The Texans will update his injury status after the game. He was replaced by Tom Savage.
Fitzpatrick was injured after a 2-yard run in the second quarter. An air cast was placed on his leg before he was carted off. The team later ruled him out from returning. He completed 3 of 6 passes for 30 yards and rushed for 16 yards.
