Texans Owner: We Need a Franchise QB
After the NFL owners voted to allow the St. Louis Rams to move to Los Angeles, Texans owner Bob McNair addressed several issues involving his team.
For the first time since the Texans were eliminated 30-0 by Kansas City in the wild card round, McNair spoke to the media.
Asked how he felt about the loss to the Chiefs, McNair said, “Absolutely terrible. I was disappointed more for our fans than myself. We’ll work on getting that corrected.”
The loss to Kansas City didn’t change the Texans’ No. 1 priority of finding their franchise quarterback.
“I don’t think there’s any question,” he said. “I’ve been saying that. The question is what’s available, and what’s the price? How many draft picks might you have to give up? You can’t undermine the rest of your team while you’re trying to get a quarterback.
