Texans’ O’Brien Believes Brock Osweiler Is Improved

The Houston Texans have seemingly made a $72 million mistake at the quarterback position.  Despite helping the team (in some ways) to the AFC South lead, quarterback Brock Osweiler has underwhelmed considerably and the team is winless away from home.

Despite having the 30th ranked passer rating in the NFL among starters, Texans head coach Bill O’Brien claims to have seen improvement out of his young signal caller.

“I think there has been improvement with the whole offense and I think that includes Brock,” the Texans head coach said. “I think that we have shown flashes of being the type of offense that we want to be, but it clearly is not enough and none of us are happy where we are offensively. I think that Brock has done a really good job of coming in here and really pouring himself into learning our offense and I think that hopefully over the second half of the season you’ll see our offense get better.”
