For being the overall top pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the past 12 months have been pretty tough for Jadeveon Clowney.

The Houston Texans’ outside linebacker missed 10 games with various injuries ranging from suffering a hernia and a concussion and having microfracture surgery on his knee, which ended his year.

His bad luck has continued this offseason.

Multiple reports detail an incident in the early morning hours of March 4 when Clowney was bit by a pit bull owned by teammate D.J. Swearinger. Clowney ended up at Houston-area emergency room and police were notified.

The bite was termed “minor” but it did break the skin. According to the police report, the dog’s vaccinations are up to date.

The dog has been place on home quarantine.
