Texans add DE Watt to injury report with illness
The Sports Xchange
The Houston Texans on Saturday added Pro Bowl defensive end J.J. Watt to the injury report with an illness for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Watt, who hasn’t missed a game in his career due to injury, is listed as questionable after practicing all week. The team said whether Watt plays will be determined by how he feels before the game.
Watt, who leads the Texans with four sacks, was not listed on the official injury report Friday.
According to ESPN.com, Watt is the fourth player for the Texans (1-4) to become sick this week. Receiver Jaelen Strong, cornerback A.J. Bouye and practice squad quarterback Zac Dysert all missed practices. Strong also is questionable, while Bouye is listed as probable.
Outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney was ruled out Friday with a sprained ankle.
