Tennessee Titans Select Dorial Green-Beckham

The Titans found Marcus Mariota a go-to receiver in Dorial Green-Beckham.

The Tennessee Titans are not afraid to gamble as they look to rebuild their offense under Ken Whisenhunt. After leading off the draft with Marcus Mariota, the Titans went and found him a No. 1 receiver with the No. 40 pick in the NFL Draft.

The Titans selected Dorial Green-Beckham, a physically dominant receiver whose undeniable ability is leveraged against his checkered past. He dealt with several legal issues at Missouri, ranging from drug use to domestic abuse, that caused him to ultimately be kicked off the team.

When Green-Beckham is on the field, he is a dominant receiver. He has an amazing combination of size, strength and speed to go along with a ridiculous catch radius. He can make even the most difficult receptions look effortless.

If he can keep his nose clean, the Titans just got a steal and made Mariota’s life a whole lot easier. If not, it’s a wasted pick from a rebuilding team that cannot afford to squander any assets at this point.
