Per source, Bethune-Cookman linebacker Tavarus Dantzler will workout for the both the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers. Dantzler has reportedly (per source) had visits with the St. Louis Rams, Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins.

Prior to the end of the season, Dantzler was viewed as a priority free agent, but after an impressive showing at both his Pro Day and Super Regional Combine he could possibly be a late-round draft pick. The more teams have seen of Dantzler the more they like what they see.

He earned second team All-MEAC honors (2014) after career highs in tackles (80) and tackles-for-loss (8.5). Dantzler is a athletic linebacker showing great range with the ability to rush the passes and also drop in coverage. He spent the majority of his college career playing in a 4-3 cover 4 defense. His ability to use his hands to shed of blockers and physicality are two outstanding trademarks of his overall game.
