Seahawks early Super Bowl 50 favorites
GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Seattle Seahawks opened as the early favorites among oddsmakers for Super Bowl 50.
Shortly after the team’s 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX, the Seahawks opened as the early betting favorites on several oddsmaker websites, ranging from 5-to-1 to 6 1/2-1 favorites for Super Bowl 50 to be played in Santa Clara, Calif. on Feb. 7, 2016.
The Patriots were second, ranging from 7-1 to 8-1 on multple sites, with the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys filling out the top five in various order.
