Seahawks claim TE Brackett from Titans
Making a change in their tight end corps, the Seattle Seahawks claimed Brett Brackett off waivers from the Tennessee Titans and released RaShaun Allen on Tuesday.
Brackett appeared in two games this season for the Titans but did not make a reception. He signed as an undrafted free agent with Miami in 2011, then appeared on the practice squad of the Dolphins, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Philadelphia Eagles as a rookie.
He spent 2012 on the Jaguars’ injured reserve, and he was out of the league last year. He signed with the Arizona Cardinals earlier this year before he was released and then signed with Tennessee.
Allen joined Seattle as an undrafted free agent in May. He was signed to the Seahawks’ practice squad after being released Sept. 1. He joined the active roster last week and made his NFL debut Sunday. Allen did not catch a pass against the St. Louis Rams.
