Saints’ Goodwin practices, but listed as questionable
METAIRIE, La. — Although New Orleans Saints center Jonathan Goodwin took part in practice Friday, he was still listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Cornerback Patrick Robinson was added to the injury report as questionable because of a hamstring issue.
Three players were declared out for the game — running back Mark Ingram (hand), safety Marcus Ball (hamstring) and fullback Erik Lorig (ankle).
Listed along with Goodwin as questionable are linebacker David Hawthorne (ankle/knee) and tight end Ben Watson (groin).
Watson and Goodwin were injured in last Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Vikings.
With Watson out, Josh Hill plays in the lineup with Jimmy Graham during two tight end situations.
Tim Lelito stepped in at center when Goodwin went down in the third quarter last Sunday and is expected to be the next man up in the middle this week if needed, although the Saints added veteran center Alex Parsons to the practice squad this week.
