Saints down two RBs vs. Packers

Published

on

The New Orleans Saints’ running back rotation has rotated yet again, as Khiry Robinson will join Pierre Thomas on the inactive list Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

Robinson (forearm) and Pierre Thomas (rib/shoulder) both were injured in the Saints’ 24-23 loss to the Detroit Lions last Sunday. Thomas reportedly will miss two or three games.

Mark Ingram is expected to start, with Travaris Cadet taking Thomas’ role as the top pass-catching back. The Saints also could make a move to elevate running back Edwin Baker from the practice squad.

Ingram just returned last week after missing four weeks with a hand injury. He rushed 10 times for just 16 yards.

Tight end Jimmy Graham (shoulder) is questionable for the second straight week. He played against Detroit but did not catch a pass.
