Ron Rivera Excited To Face Josh Norman
Find out why Ron Rivera is looking forward to facing Josh Norman.
The most shocking offseason development came when the Carolina Panthers allowed All-Pro cornerback, Josh Norman, to hit the open market. Sure, it was understandable to see both parties fail to reach a long-term deal, but no one expected Carolina to pull the franchise tag.
When the NFL schedule was released, we found out Norman would get the opportunity to face his former team Week 15. With the matchup a few days away, Panthers head coach Ron Rivera is looking forward to the challenge.
“He’s a unique talent. It’ll be fun, or I think it will be fun. He’s going to have a challenge. We’ll have a challenge, as well. And we’ll just see what happens. It’s going to be a unique set of circumstances seeing him out there. He’ll bring his best game because he’ll want to play well and I know our guys will want to play well against him.”
Before the season, this contest was supposed to have playoff implications for both teams, but the Panthers are arguably the league’s most disappointing team.
