Roger Goodell Finally Puts Deflategate To Rest

Find out how Roger Goodell feels about deflategate

Published

on

We’re a mere three days away from Super Bowl LI, but of course, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is still being asked questions about ‘deflategate’. Ever since Goodell decided to suspend Tom Brady for the first four games of the season, Patriots brass and fans alike have expressed their displeasure.

During championship weekend, Goodell decided to attend Falcons-Packers over Patriots-Steelers and many assumed this was because of the backlash he would’ve received in Foxborough.

When asked about deflategate during his news conference, Goodell finally laid the topic to rest.

“We are moving on from that,” Goodell stressed. “That’s part of our history, but it’s something that we are comfortable with the process, the decision. We’re focusing on the game now.”

While Goodell may be moving on, that doesn’t mean the Patriots or their fans ever will.
