Richard Sherman: Eagles Miss DeSean Jackson
The Seattle Seahawks defense didn’t just beat up the Eagles on Sunday in their 24-14 win, it virtually erased their passing game.
Ninety-six yards passing. Fifty-seven yards rushing. Just 139 total yards, the lowest ever by the Eagles under Chip Kelly.
“Like I said earlier in the week,” cornerback Richard Sherman said, “they have to deal with us just like we have to deal with them.”
“I think they miss [DeSean Jackson] tremendously,” Sherman added. “He was an incredible player and he’s still a threat. We never felt threatened [by Philadelphia’s wide receivers].”
