Rex Ryan To Keep Tyrod Taylor As Starting Quarterback
Find out why Rex Ryan will continue to start Tyrod Taylor at quarterback.
Expectations were fairly high for Rex Ryan’s ballclub before the season. In many people’s eyes, this was supposed to be the year the Buffalo Bills make the playoffs for the first time this century. While mathematically Buffalo still has a chance to sneak in, it’ll take a lot of unforeseen events to occur for them to reach January.
As the Bills prepare to face the winless Cleveland Browns, there’s been rumblings about a potential quarterback change. In Tyrod Taylor last two games, he’s only completed 55 percent of his passes for mere 419 yards.
When asked about the situation, Ryan made a firm decision.
“I think Tyrod, the reason he’s our starting quarterback is, in my opinion, he gives us the best opportunity to win,” Ryan said. “And that’s what we signed up for. We’re trying to win these games. So that’s my opinion.”
Some are advocating for EJ Manuel to get another shot, but the real rumblings are surrounding rookie quarterback Cardale Jones, who is most likely the future under center in Buffalo.
