Rex Ryan Hesitates To Commit Long-Term To Tyrod Taylor

See why Rex Ryan is hesitating to commit long-term to Tyrod Taylor.

In today’s NFL, having someone you can call a franchise quarterback is an enormous deal. In the case of the Buffalo Bills, they’ve been hopeful Tyrod Taylor could emerge as that guy. However, if this season is any indication, it may be time for Rex Ryan to look elsewhere.

When asked if Taylor is the answer moving forward, Ryan delivered an interesting response.

“I think first off, I’m pleased with Tyrod Taylor. I think he gives us the best chance to win,” Ryan stressed. “I think he’s a good quarterback, but our focus is strictly on Pittsburgh, so anything past that … I don’t think it’s even an appropriate conversation right now.”

At (6-6), Buffalo still has a chance to sneak into postseason play, but they’ll need tons of help along the way.
