Reports: Ravens reach three-year deal with RB Forsett
The Baltimore Ravens reportedly reached agreement with running back Justin Forsett on a three-year deal worth $9 million on Thursday.
Terms of the deal were relayed via ESPN, NFL Network and the Baltimore Sun.
Forsett emerged as the Raven’s top rusher last season, gaining 1,266 yards and leading NFL running backs with a 5.4-yard average per carry.
It was the best season of Forsett’s seven-year career, which began when he was drafted in the seventh round by the Seattle Seahawks in 2008.
Forsett took over for the Ravens after the team released Ray Rice in the wake of the former starter’s domestic-violence case.
