Reports: Palmer expected to start for Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer is expected to start Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins, according to multiple reports.
Palmer has missed the last three games with a nerve injury in his throwing (right) shoulder.
Drew Stanton, who has filled in for Palmer, is recovering from a concussion but was cleared to play Saturday.
Palmer and Stanton were both listed as questionable Friday.
Palmer has not played since the season opener.
Stanton sustained the concussion last Sunday against the Denver Broncos. In three games, Stanton has thrown for 529 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions.
