Reports: Gore decides not to sign with Eagles
Running back Frank Gore, who reportedly agreed Sunday to a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, apparently has had a change of heart.
As reported Monday by Ian Rapoport of NFL Media and Adam Schefter of ESPN, Gore has reconsidered and apparently could sign with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Eagles were set to make a big splash in free agency, with reports Sunday that they had agreements with Seattle cornerback Byron Maxwell and Gore, who is leaving San Francisco after 10 years.
The Eagles reportedly had offered Gore a three-year deal worth $7.5 million to replace LeSean McCoy, whom the Eagles will trade to the Buffalo Bills.
Gore, who will turn 32 in May, has run for more than 1,000 yards in four straight seasons and eight of nine. He tallied 1,106 yards and four touchdowns in 2014.
