Report: Winston undergoing shoulder tests
INDIANAPOLIS — Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston underwent an electromyography to determine the source of weakness in his throwing shoulder, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
Winston did not miss a game in two seasons at Florida State, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2013 and did not lose a game until the College Football Playoff semifinals in the Rose Bowl.
Winston is projected as the No. 1 overall pick by NFLDraftScout.com.
He was not available to media as scheduled Thursday and his arrival was delayed again Friday, when as of 1:30 p.m. ET he had not yet held his press conference.
