Report: Welker active vs. Seahawks
Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker will most likely play Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, according to CBSSports.com.
Welker was suspended the first two games of the season for violating the NFL’s drug policy after testing positive for amphetamines. He also sustained a concussion that would have kept him out of the first two games without the ban.
Welker reportedly had no setbacks in recovering from the concussion he sustained during the preseason and will be active for the game. However, the number of snaps he plays could be limited.
Welker’s suspension was cut after the league and the NFLPA recently agreed on a new policy. The concussion was his third in less than a year.
