Report: Steelers OC Haley gets extension
Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley signed a two-year contract extension through the 2016 season, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported this week.
The Steelers have not yet confirmed the deal.
Pittsburgh’s offense finished second in total yards in the NFL and averaged 27.2 points per game this season.
Haley completed his third season with the Steelers since he replaced Bruce Arians. He endured criticism his first two years on the job when the offense struggled, but the emergence of running back LeVeon Bell and wide receiver Antonio Brown and the resurgence of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger helped the Steelers reach the playoffs in 2014.
