The Oakland Raiders reportedly agreed to contracts with defensive tackle Dan Williams and linebacker Curtis Lofton on Wednesday.

Full terms were not available, but ESPN’s Josina Anderson reported Lofton’s deal is for three years.

Williams, a first-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2010, is expected to fortify the run defense for new Oakland coach Jack Del Rio and defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. Williams had 32 tackles and one sack last season and tallied 157 tackles and two sacks in 70 games with Arizona.

Lofton, 28, was released Monday by the New Orleans Saints, who needed the $4 million in cap space.

A former second-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons, Lofton has surpassed 100 tackles for six straight years and finished with 144 last season for New Orleans.

Williams and Lofton join linebacker Malcolm Smith as new members of the Raiders’ defense. The Raiders also signed tight end Lee Smith and running back Roy Helu on Tuesday.
