Report: Packers’ Cobb to play despite hospital visit
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is scheduled to play in Sunday’s NFC title game against the Seattle Seahawks even though he spent several hours in the hospital on Saturday, Fox Sports reported Sunday.
Cobb was having abdominal pains and thought he was going to need his appendix removed.
He spent about three hours at the hospital, according to the report, but was released and given the go-ahead to play against Seattle. Cobb was not listed among the Packers players who are inactive for the game.
Cobb caught 87 passes for 1,207 yards and 10 touchdowns during the regular season, and had eight catches for 116 yards in last week’s playoff-game victory against the Dallas Cowboys.
