Report: Murray to play with pad on hand
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is expected to play with a protective pad on his surgically-repaired hand Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, according to NFL Network.
Murray, who fractured his left hand last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, debuted the pad during the Cowboys’ walkthru on Saturday. He had been listed on the injury report as questionable but medically cleared to play.
The Cowboys (10-4) could rest Murray in the regular season finale if they clinch a playoff spot Sunday.
Murray leads the NFL with 1,687 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns.
