Jets head coach Todd Bowles spoke about Mangold’s injury in his Wednesday press conference.
“It’s pretty sore,” the head coach said. “He’s in a boot. I didn’t get clarification on what it was, but he is in a boot.”
Mangold is due approximately $9 million next season and that’s going to be a tough pill for a rebuilding team to swallow.
