Report: Jets’ Milliner out for season
New York Jets cornerback Dee Milliner reportedly is out for the season with a torn Achilles.
The injury forced him to leave the Jets’ 31-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J.
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported Monday that tests revealed a torn Achilles.
The Achilles injury is the latest woe for the No. 9 overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft, who already had dealt with a high ankle sprain and quadriceps injury this season.
The ankle injury kept him out of three preseason games and the season opener, and the quadriceps injury forced him to miss two more games before he returned last week to play against the San Diego Chargers.
