Report: Jacksonville Jaguars First in Line for TE Julius Thomas
The Jacksonville Jaguars were forced to spend money this free agency period after getting dangerously close to the NFL’s salary floor, and have been handing out deals left and right. Most recently, a report from NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport has them connected with former Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas.
The 26-year-old is a two-time Pro Bowler and is considered one of the best pass-catching weapons at tight end in the game today. However, injuries have limited his dependability and he was caught in a cap-cutting move as the Broncos chose to spend their money on re-signing wide receiver Demaryius Thomas.
