Report: Cowboys hold tense team meeting
Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett held a team meeting Saturday over concerns about team chemistry, ESPNDallas.com reported.
Friday, a loud argument between wide receiver Dez Bryant and backup running back Joseph Randle carried over onto the practice field.
Garrett met with the players later that day as well as an angry Josh Brent. He then addressed the subject with the entire team Saturday.
Sources told ESPN that the meeting was tense, and Garrett seriously considered whether Randle should continue to be with the team. Garrett reportedly decided to allow Randle to remain with the team.
Randle backs up NFL rushing leader DeMarco Murray.
Bryant and Brent were reportedly furious that Randle mentioned their legal problems to Frisco, Texas, police as he was being booked into jail for shoplifting charges in October. He was fined one game check for his arrest.
According to ESPN, Randle has been snubbed by some teammates.
The Cowboys also have running backs Lance Dunbar and Ryan Williams (practice squad) on the roster.
