Report: Brady to start for Patriots
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will start Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, even though he is listed as questionable with an ankle injury, according to ESPN.
Brady made the trip to Buffalo on Saturday without the walking boot he had been wearing since sustaining the injury in practice on Friday, the Boston Herald reported. He rolled the ankle on one of the Patriots’ offensive lineman, according to ESPN.
Brady was limited for the remainder of the practice but the injury is not serious.
“It’s really not an issue,” a source told ESPN.
Brady is coming off probably his best game of the season, completing 23 of 35 passes for 292 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions last Sunday in a victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Also, rookie center Bryan Stork is out with a concussion he sustained Thursday and did not practice Friday. He was listed as questionable before being downgraded Saturday.
