Report: Bills to start Manuel at QB
The Sports Xchange
The Buffalo Bills have not named a starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, but ESPN is reporting that E.J. Manuel will get the call in place of the injured Tyrod Taylor.
Manuel, who took the majority of the first-team snaps in practice, has not played this season after losing the job to Taylor. Manuel completed 58 percent of his passes for 838 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions in five games last season.
Taylor was limited in practice after suffering a sprained MCL in Buffalo’s 14-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans last week. The sixth round draft pick in 2011 by Baltimore has a 70.1 percent completion rate while throwing for 1,097 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions in five games this season.
