Report: Bicknell candidate for 49ers’ OC job
Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell is reportedly a potential candidate for the San Francisco 49ers’ vacant offensive coordinator position.
Albert Breer of NFL Media also reported that former running backs coach Steve Logan met with San Francisco on Tuesday. Logan has been out of football since 2011 when he was the running backs coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Bicknell, 45, has been the Eagles’ receivers coach for the last two seasons. Previously, he was an assistant with the Buffalo Bills (2010-2012) and Kansas City Chiefs (2007-2009).
Bicknell was an offensive coordinator in NFL Europe from 2001 through 2005.
