Report: Alshon Jeffery Suspended 4 Games
What will be the Bears do without their leading receiver?
The Chicago Bears 2016 season has been very little short of abysmal. It just went from that to much worse as they will be without their best offensive player, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.
Jeffery was suspended four games for a violation of the NFL’s performance enhancing drugs policy, according to an ESPN report.

Through nine games, Jeffery has 40 receptions, for 630 yards with one touchdown. He leads the Bears in receiving as he’s playing out this season under the franchise tag.
If you’re looking for a silver lining, Jeffery’s absence will give young receivers like Kevin White and Cameron Meredith more opportunities to perform and develop.
